Hey! Over the past couple of weeks, you have probably seen a lot of decade-in-review articles. I tried to avoid being repetitive, but upon reflection, it was a huge decade for craft hot sauce, and I’m too grateful for your involvement to not say something. Some of you were our first dozen followers back in 2014...

What's up!! How was your Thanksgiving? It has gotta be hot sauce's favorite holiday with all the different pairing opportunities. My favorite combo was the Golden Pumpkin Craic Sauce with spicy curry squash.

We have a few new Craft Hot Sauce profiles from sauce makers from Ireland, Texas, and Thailand. We also updated our online shop with sauces from people that have done craft hot sauce profiles or were guests on our podcast.

Hi there, Happy Day of the Dead and All Saints’ Day! I’m writing this from a festive New Orleans where I've been partaking in the Halloween celebrations this week. I actually can't believe I got this email out on time! Did you have a chance to listen to our latest Craft Hot Sauce podcast with Mikey Vee?
Hi there, Happy Harvest Season! No lie, my left foot, and hands are still burning as I type this, 24 hours after chopping up some ghost peppers. In years past, I learned my lesson of being careful going to the bathroom after chopping peppers, but now I know flip flops aren’t suitable footwear for chile chopping!

I'm about to be really busy this month prepping peppers after the harvest, going to some markets, and slanging Craic Sauce at Hot Sauce Alley at Chilifest, put on by my friends Kitchen Garden Farms in Western Mass.

Before the craziness ensued, I went out west with my brother and cousin to visit our cousin in Seattle, and then we all went down to the PDX Hot Sauce Expo together.

One person who makes the craft hot sauce community tighter is Smokin' Ed Currie of Puckerputt Pepper Company, or as Brian Caudle calls him, “The MJ of the pepper world!” Ed, creator of the Carolina Reaper (the hottest pepper in the world), got some recognition from our contributors this month.
You’ve probably heard of Secret Aardvark before, but you probably haven’t heard many of their inspiring and funny founding stories. Please take some time to listen to Stacey from Secret Aardvark as she shares their story.
I recorded a conversation with Sufia from Silly Chilly Hot Sauce on the front seat of my car on a busy Boston street. Sufia quit her job in the fashion industry to go all-in on making a mission-driven hot sauce company in Queens. As you’ll learn from the conversation on our podcast, it wasn’t easy, but she has no regrets!
Hi there, Happy Spring! Hope you've been keeping well. March was a busy month of production, making some of our biggest batches of Craic Sauce yet, but during that time I also got to meet a few folks in the craft hot sauce community. One of them was Chef Nino, who is a chef, farmer, and entrepreneur in Zimbabwe...
From a cat themed hot sauce restaurant, to monks creating hot sauce in Arkansas and a vegan restaurant that grew from a hot sauce line in Berlin, Germany, there is evidence of community at all intersections of hot sauce.
Hi , What's going on?! I have a new updated website for you! I planned to do this update two years ago, but between then and now, I had some time to think about why I've been keeping up with CraftHotSauce.com as a hobby since 2014...
Hi there, Wishing you a warm and spicy New Year! Whether you're reading this email this morning in "go-gettem 2019" mode, "I can't move or do anything today" mode, or somewhere in between, I know you like hot sauce, and I know you should check out our New Year’s resolutions for hot sauce lovers on our blog!
