About the Sauce: Coming from the deeply forests region of Humboldt County in Northern California, this verde hot sauce emerges and stands out as a classic flavorful sauce. It's a mild sauce with roasted bell peppers, onions and habanero peppers.
Uses: This verde sauce is quite versatile. It's my favorite as a finishing sauce that I can use on eggs and especially Italian food, but you can really put this sauce on anything!

Size: 5 oz. bottle
Maker Story: Owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Cal and Heidi Ferris, Humboldt Hot Sauce has an interesting origin story. The idea of making craft hot sauce came about in the couple's Portland Oregon restaurant Cool Runnings Cafe in 2002. A sauce that started as a simple table-side condiment quickly became the star of the whole restaurant!
After a few years of scheming and dreaming, Cal and Heidi finally took the leap of faith and started Humboldt Hot Sauce in 2009. The Humboldt Hot Sauce team takes pride in their line of well-rounded hot sauces that put flavor and taste first. Additionally, Cal and Heidi love adding tropical flavors and island ingredients to their sauces to express their love of traveling and exploration.
