About the Hot Sauces: Craic Sauce is a small batch hot sauce company located in Lowell, Mass. Craic Sauce has three hot sauce flavors offering a wide range of flavors and potential uses.
The mildest sauce is the 40 Shades of Green Chilli which is a super flavorful and fruit forward verde hot sauce that has a blend of jalapeno, serrano, anahiem and poblano peppers.
The Golden Pumpkin marries the warmth of roasted pumpkin and pineapple with the heat of the habanero and ghost pepper.
The Mill City Red pays homage to city of Lowell where Craic Sauce resides, using Lowell grown beets in a traditional style fermented hot sauce.
Uses: The 40 Shades of Green Chilli and Mill City Red are more of the every day/meal type sauce that we encourage you use with your lunches, dinners and to dip pretzels in hummus, topped with Craic Sauce and parmigiano cheese. Try the Golden Pumpkin with soups and stews, and it's also a hit with eggs.
Heat - Very mild with 40 Shades, to mild/medium with the the Mill City Red, to medium to hot with The Golden Pumpkin.
Makers Story: Brian started Craic Sauce in 2017 after being inspired from interviewing other hot sauce makers all over the world on CraftHotSauce.com. Brian was making hot sauce as a hobby in Ireland, but when he moved back to the US he decided he wanted to start a hot sauce company with the guiding light of having good craic!
Craic is an Irish word that means having a great time. Today Brian and his team still has great craic making their flavorful hot sauces by hand in their commercial kitchen in Lowell, Mass and enjoys creating new flavors. And still runs CraftHotSauce.com and this online shop.
