About the Sauce: A classic fire-roasted hot sauce that ranks high among my favorites. This sauce was originally made as a finishing sauce for sushi at his parent's seafood restaurant. This fire-roasted hot sauce brings so much smoky habanero heat and flavor that is a great addition to almost anything.
Uses: This sauce was Char Man Brand's first hot sauce and was originally made for adding to sushi. Some fans drink it straight from the bottle, but we also recommend pizza, eggs and sandwiches!
Ingredients: Distilled Vinegar, Hot Peppers or Chiles, Cane Sugar, Lemon Juice, Dried Garlic, Dried Onion, Salt, Pepper, Xanthan Gum and Spices.

Maker Story: Chris Sutton is the creator and cook behind Char Man Brand Hot Sauces. Chris grew up in his family's seafood restaurant, always in the kitchen or behind the sushi bar creating recipes. By his early 20’s, he had become obsessed with hot sauce.
A few years later after his fascination with heat began, Chris started producing hot sauces as a condiment for the family restaurant. The Char Man Original (Chris's first sauce) was originally used as a finishing sauce on a sushi roll. The sauce became extremely popular, with many customers requesting to take Chris’ sauce home with them.
In 2006, Chris founded Char Man Brand and began selling his sauce outside of the family restaurant. Named after a local legend of the Ojai Valley in Ojai, California, Char Man Brand has expanded to offer a wide range of delicious and unique hot sauces.
