About the Sauce: Paul came up with this recipe tog after driving back from a long Vegas weekend. He stopped at the grocery store and then all of a sudden he was blending up mustard, mango and habanero and a few other ingredients. The result? Perfection

Try this tangy, sweet with a touch of heat - mustard base hot sauce, Big Yella!

Uses: This sauce was made to be the perfect addition to a Jamaican meat pie, but it's fun exploring different food combinations like tamales and enchiladas with the Big Yella!

Heat: Mild

Ingredients: Water, Mustard, Mango Purée, Brown Sugar, Habanero Peppers, Apple Cider Vinegar, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Lemon Juice, Sea Salt, Celery Seed, Organic Chia Seed Powder

Maker Story: Big Red’s Hot Sauce is a family-owned craft hot sauce company based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Founder Paul Ford’s journey to hot sauce began with a passion for gardening and cooking for his family, but events in Paul’s life and the importance he places on family are what truly fuel the love behind each batch of Big Red’s Hot Sauce. 

At the age of 13, Paul lost his father, and the responsibility for raising Paul and his brothers fell solely to his mother. For a time, money was low and stress was high for Paul’s family, and outside temptations took Paul further away from his culinary passions. 

Reconnecting with the values of hard work, discipline, and faith that were instilled in Paul by his parents from a young age, Paul found a new path that led him to his now wife and business partner, Tasia.

Paul’s mission in life is to leave behind a legacy for his children and to let people know that no matter the situation, it’s not about how you start, but how you finish. Dreams can become goals and goals can become reality. He carries his love and passion in every bottle while making this world a spicier place, one bottle at a time!
