Mikey's passion for salsa and sauces started when he was about 13 years old. Unlike other kids his age, Mikey developed a habit of spending his hard-earned dollars buying hot sauces at his local hot sauce store, Hot Licks.
20 years later, after being encouraged to enter his hot sauce into the Austin Hot Sauce Festival (and winning), Mikey turned his love of hot sauce into a flourishing business. Mikey currently produces his 25 different hot sauce products in his 3,000 square foot kitchen. When he's not in the kitchen, Mikey runs the other side of his business: a hot sauce shop in Georgetown, Texas.
